At THE LINKS, community is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re thrilled to share exciting news about the Movimiento Deportivo Tenares. Thanks to the support of our partners, we’ve taken a big step so that our young athletes in the Dominican Republic can pursue their basketball dreams, Illuminating Our Court and Our Future.
With the installation of new lights, our basketball court shines brighter, offering these athletes a space that reflects their passion and resilience. Many of them dream of the NBA, and this upgraded facility brings them closer to that goal with every game and practice.
A special thanks goes to Chanchy, Chris Works, Christhopher Tejada, and THE LINKS’ founder, Jeffrey Valenzuela, whose efforts made this possible. Their dedication has brought our story to life and inspired others to support these young athletes.
On July 6, 200 kids will compete in the Tenares basketball tournament, where we’ll promote the sport and raise funds to continue improving our facility. It’s more than just a tournament—it’s an opportunity to uplift the dreams of these incredible young players. Together, we’re not just lighting up the court; we’re lighting up their future.
